Sexton, Anderson, and Hammaker Back for Red Bud
Chase Sexton, following a concussion and mono diagnosis, is returning to race in the 2023 Red Bud National after uncertainty around his return. His re-entry into the series comes as a surprise, especially since there were concerns none of the members of the USA's Motocross Des Nations winning team would be able to participate due to various injuries.
The 2023 Red Bud National will see several participants taking a break from the motocross series to compete in the World Supercross British GP (WSX) including Ken Roczen, Grant Harlan, Max Miller, and Kyle Chisholm.
Returning to the Red Bud National are racers Jason Anderson, Seth Hammaker, and Jett Reynolds, who have recovered from their respective injuries.
The status of racer Carson Mumford for this event is unclear, though recent practice sessions suggest he might participate.
A new addition to this year's event is a 30-minute halftime between motos, providing extra rest time for riders and team.
Can Chase Sexton or Jason Anderson give Jett Lawrence a run for his money, and possibly even his first non-moto-win of the season?
